You will see 25-meter (83 feet) long and 15 meter (50 feet) wide crosses made by hand and without the use of machinery and binding materials, using only drywall building techniques. As much as 400 cubic meters (14.125 cubic feet) of existing stones from Kornati was used. The constructed was performed by 2.500 volunteers led by firefighters and builders organized in an association for preservation of cultural and natural heritage of the island of Pag called “Suhozid” (literally translated as Drywall).
